KARIMNAGAR, MAY 16, 2026: The Government Degree & PG College, Jammikunta in Karimnagar district entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Life Sciences Sector Skill Development Council (LSSSDC), Hyderabad, during a formal programme organised on the occasion of last day of Education Week celebrations on Sunday.
The objective of the MoU is to enhance students’ employability skills and provide placement opportunities through industry-oriented training and skill development programmes.
The MoU aims to establish collaboration between the college and LSSSDC to provide students with industry-relevant knowledge and practical exposure in the life sciences sector.
The agreement was formally exchanged between the Principal, Prof. B. Ramesh, and the Project Coordinator, Mr. U. Kumaraswamy.
Speaking on the occasion, the Principal stated that the MoU would empower students with valuable skills and help them improve their career prospects.
The Project Coordinator explained that students would receive training through seminars, workshops, and skill-based programmes as part of this initiative.
The programme was coordinated by the Placement Cell Coordinator, K. Umakiran and was attended by all the faculty members and students.
