TIRUMALA, MAY 07, 2026: The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams Board meeting was held on Wednesday at Annamayya Bhavan in Tirumala under the chairmanship of TTD Chairman Sri B.R. Naidu.
Important Decisions:
Approval for construction of additional toilets in Srivari Sarvadarshan queue lines at a cost of Rs.4.55 crore.
Roads and circles in Tirumala to be named with spiritual and mythological significance.
Rs.43.40 crore approved for modern infrastructure in TTD educational institutions (total allocation now Rs.161.40 crore).
Rs.6 crore approved for a new water pipeline from Gogarbham Dam to Filter Plant.
Purchase of silk items and blankets worth Rs.44.20 crore from APCO and Co-optex.
Rs.55 lakh sanctioned for construction of a Shiva temple in Vardhanapalli village, Alluri Sitarama Raju district.
Free kits to be distributed to children under “Akshara Govindam”.
Approval to merge 19.43 acres of donated land in Coimbatore district into TTD.
Steps to appoint staff for the newly built Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple in Navi Mumbai. TTD Board member Sri Saurabh Bora to bear expenses for construction of Sri Padmavathi Ammavari temple in Mumbai.
