TIRUPATI, APRIL 28, 2026: Vice President of India C. P. Radhakrishnan visited the Sri Padmavathi Ammavari Temple at Tiruchanoor on Tuesday.
Upon his arrival at the temple, he was accorded a traditional Istikapal welcome by the temple priests. He offered prayers at the Dwajasthambam and had darshan of Sri Padmavathi Ammavaru.
Later, at the Asthana Mandapam, TTD Executive Officer M. Ravichandra presented Srivari prasadam and honoured him with Sesha Vastram.

Chandragiri MLA Pulivarthi Nani, TTD Board Member G. Bhanu Prakash Reddy, JEO V. Veerabrahmam, District Collector Venkateswarlu, District SP L. Subbarayudu, CVSO Muralikrishna, Tiruchanoor Temple Deputy EO Harindranath, and other officials were present.
Bugga Utsavam begins grandly at Sri Govindaraja Swamy
The three-day Bugga Utsavam commenced on a grand note at Sri Govindaraja Swamy Temple in Tirupati on Tuesday.

The rituals began with Suprabhatam followed by Viswaroopa Darshan. Later, the processional deities of Sri Govindaraja Swamy, along with Sridevi and Bhudevi, were taken to the Bugga.
Snapana Thirumanjanam, Samarpana and Asthanam were performed from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM. In the evening, Unjal Seva and Asthanam were held at Sri Mahalakshmi Ammavari Mandapam, followed by a procession to the Bugga, offering darshan to devotees.
Superintendent Sri Chiranjeevi, Temple Inspector Sri Dhananjaya, officials, priests and a large number of devotees participated.
