TIRUPATI, APRIL 17, 2026: The Patra Pushpa Yagam festival will be grandly conducted at Sri Kapileswara Swamy Temple in Tirupati on May 1. On the evening of April 30 at 6 PM, the Ankurarpana ritual will be performed.
On May 1, from 7 AM to 9 AM, Snapan Tirumanjanam, Maha Poornahuti, and Kalashabhishekam will be performed for the festival deities of Sri Kapileswara Swamy and Sri Kamakshi Ammavaru. During this, sacred substances such as milk, curd, honey, Panchamritam, sugarcane juice, coconut water, vibhuti, turmeric, and sandalwood will be used for the abhishekam.
From 10 AM to 12 noon, the Patra Pushpa Yagam will take place. In this ritual, flowers such as chrysanthemum, oleander, mogali, champak, jasmine, rose, lotus, and kanakambaram, along with sacred leaves like bilva, tulasi, and paneer leaves, will be offered to the deities.

In the evening, from 6 PM to 8 PM, the Tiruveedhi Utsavam of Sri Chandrasekhara Swamy and Manmohini Ammavaru will delight devotees.
Temple priests stated that the Patra Pushpa Yagam is performed not only for universal welfare but also to atone for any lapses committed by priests, attendants, officials, and devotees in the temple.
