BRS working president K Taraka Rama Rao launches the state-of-the-art surgeries and selects beneficiaries through a draw of lots
KARIMNAGAR, APRIL 12, 2026: BRS working president and former Minister and Sircilla legislator K Taraka Rama Rao has formally launched the Robotic knee replacement surgery and participated in a draw of lots to select 15 beneficiaries for free knee replacement surgeries at Renee Hospital in Karimnagar town on Sunday.
Stated to be first of its kind in the north Telangana to launch Robotic knee replacement surgeries in Karimnagar, Renee hospital Chairman and Managing Director Dr Bangari Swamy said that the Robotic knee surgeries had been launched with the state-of-the-art Johnson and Johnson Velys technology. On the occasion, the Renee hospital had selected 15 patients to conduct free knee replacement surgeries in memory of Bangari Laxmi and Maisaiah through Laxmi Maheshwara Charitable Trust.
On this occasion, the former Minister KTR was all praise for Dr Bangari Swamy and Dr Rajani Priyadarshini. The selection of beneficiaries for the conduct of free knee replacement surgeries was conducted transparently through a live telecast. The surgeries for the selected beneficiaries would be conducted within one month.
