KARIMNAGAR, APRIL 07, 2026: The importance of staying fit holistically was upheld in the greatest way by organising a bicycle rally in Karimnagar town by the VNR foundation as part of World Health Day celebrations on Tuesday.
Commissioner of Police Gaush Alam flagged off the bicycle rally from the Police headquarters in Karimnagar town. The cycle rally passed through the important streets of Karimnagar town and converged at Renee Hospital.
Speaking on the occasion, the CP said that walking, cycling and running are the cheapest forms of exercise that are equitable and cost-effective. Regular moderate physical activity of walking, cycling or pursuing any other sport has significant health benefits for all ages, he stated.
Alphores educational institutions chairman V Narender Reddy, Renee hospital chairman Dr Bangari Swamy, Karimnagar district cycling association B Madhusudhan Reddy, district cycling association leaders Mahender, Aravind, Ramesh, Traffic inspector B Sanjeev and SI Hanumanthu and others were also present.
