Brahmotsavams to conclude with Dhwajarohanam tonight
TIRUPATI/ VONTIMITTA, APRIL 04, 2026: The annual Brahmotsavams of Sri Kodandarama Swamy at Vontimitta concluded on a grand note on Saturday with the sacred Chakrasnanam performed in the temple tank (Pushkarini) near the temple. A large number of devotees participated and took holy dips.
The day began early at 4:00 AM with Suprabhatam, followed by temple purification rituals and worship. At around 9:30 AM, the processional deities of Lord Sri Rama, along with Sita and Lakshmana, were taken in a procession in Tiruchi, while Sudarshana Chakrattalwar was taken in a palanquin to the Pushkarini.
From 10:30 AM to 11:15 AM, Snapana Tirumanjanam (sacred bathing ritual) was performed ceremoniously to the utsava deities. During this ritual, the deities, along with Chakrattalwar, were offered ablutions with milk, curd, honey, turmeric, and sandalwood paste. Later, amidst Vedic chants, priests conducted the Chakrasnanam as per sacred traditions.

The Brahmotsavams will conclude tonight at 7:00 PM with Dhwajavarohanam.
Deputy EO Smt. Prashanti, Temple Inspector Sri Naveen, temple priests, and a large number of devotees participated in the event.
PUSHPA YAGAM ON APRIL 5:
The Pushpayagam festival of Sri Kodandarama Swamy will be held on Sunday, April 5, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM in a grand manner at the temple.
