JAGTIAL, MARCH 31, 2026: As part of the “Academic Empowerment Program for Government Degree Colleges – 100 Days Initiative” approved by Satavahana University, a two-day workshop on “Training in Hindi Translation” will be organised on April 1 and 2 at the Government Degree College for Women in Jagital under the auspices of the Hindi Department.
The workshop brochure was unveiled on Tuesday by Prof. Satish Kumar Peddapalli, Registrar, Satavahana University, Karimnagar. Speaking on the occasion, he stated that the workshop would be highly beneficial for students and faculty members in developing proficiency in Hindi translation and would also strengthen their future career prospects.
The workshop will feature eminent resource persons, including Prof. Pathan Rahim Khan from Maulana Azad National Urdu University, L. Komura Reddy, E. Raj Kumar, D. Ananthalakshmi, Mr. A. Sambashiva Rao, and T. Rajeshwar Rao, along with other Assistant Professors of Hindi. They will provide training in both Hindi and English translation through their expert lectures. Prof. Vasala Varaprasad, Head of the Department of Hindi and Convener of the workshop, appealed to students and faculty to participate in large numbers and make the program a grand success.
On this occasion, the Principal Prof. K. Ramakrishna, Vice-Principal G. Chandrayya, T. Pramod Kumar, and faculty members, including N Sangeeta Rani, G. Ramachandram, D. Sujatha, V. Jamuna, G. Neeraja, and G. Srilatha congratulated Prof. Vasala Varaprasad for his efforts in organising the workshop.
