HANAMKONDA, MARCH 28, 2026: The Department of Commerce and Business Management at Vaagdevi Degree and PG College successfully organised Pinnacle 2K26, a State-level Commerce and Management Students’ Meet, on 28 March 2026 with great enthusiasm and splendour. A total of 520 participants registered for the event. The meet brought together students from various colleges, providing a vibrant platform for showcasing talent, exchanging ideas, and enhancing professional competencies. Cash prizes worth Rs 50,000, along with certificates, were awarded to the winners of various events.
The programme was inaugurated by Prof. Vara Lakshmi, Dean, College Development Council. In her address, she emphasised the importance of equipping students with essential skill sets to meet the evolving demands of the modern industry. She also highlighted the significance of such academic forums in promoting networking, collaboration, and overall personality development.
A Shesha Chalam, Principal of the college, appreciated the sincere efforts of both student organisers and faculty members in successfully conducting the event. He commended their dedication, teamwork, and careful planning, which contributed to the smooth execution of the programme.
Ch. Vishwambar Reddy, CEO of VIBA, addressed the gathering and underscored the role of innovation in driving national growth and development. He encouraged students to embrace creative thinking and adopt innovative approaches in their academic and professional pursuits.
