KARIMNAGAR, MARCH 28, 2026: The seven-day intensive training programme under the Yuva Aapda Mitra Scheme (YAMS) concluded with a vibrant closing ceremony at Alphorse e-techno school in Kothapalli of Karimnagar town on Saturday.
The training programme was conducted by the 9 Telangana NCC Battalion of Karimnagar, wherein cadets from the Karimnagar and Siddipet districts participated. Alphores educational institutions chairman V Narender Reddy and 9 Telangana Battalion commanding officer Lt Col AK Jayantha participated. The event marked the successful certification of several NCC cadets
During this week-long programme, the team of experts from the Fire Department, SDRF and others provided multi-dimensional training, which is aimed at preparing the youth to respond effectively during emergencies.
Accordingly, the SDRF personnel have trained the cadets in rope rescue techniques and primary search and rescue operations in the swimming pool of the school.

Lt Col AK Jayantha lauded the NCC cadets for their dedication and emphasised the vital role of youth in building a disaster-resilient India. He also thanked Alphores e-techno school management for the successful conduct of the camp by providing all necessary infrastructure and logistics. NCC Administrative officer Col V Krishna, Officiating Subedhar Major J Surya Prasad, ANOs, JCIs, PI staff and others were also present.
