One-Day Workshop on Research Methodology and Project Report Preparation for SRR Commerce Students
KARIMNAGAR, MARCH 24, 2026: Research plays a crucial role in identifying solutions to various problems faced by society as well as challenges in the business and commerce sectors, stated D. Harikanth, Principal, College of Commerce and Management, Satavahana University, and Officer on Special Duty to the Vice-Chancellor.
He was speaking as the Chief Guest at the inaugural session of a one-day workshop on “Research Methodology and Project Report Preparation”, organised by the Department of Commerce, SRR Government Arts & Science College (Autonomous), in collaboration with the Institute of Public Enterprise, Hyderabad. The session was presided over by Vice Principal Mr. Nitin Pathak.
In his address, Harikanth emphasised that the workshop was designed to help students understand real-world conditions in business and commerce and to develop solutions to existing challenges through research. He further highlighted that such training would enhance students’ analytical abilities, problem-solving skills, and language proficiency.
Speaking on the occasion, Vice Principal Nitin Pathak encouraged students to develop a research-oriented mindset. The workshop featured distinguished resource persons from the Institute of Public Enterprise, Hyderabad—Prof. Y. Ramakrishna and Assistant Professor A. Rakesh Phanindra, who provided detailed insights on research topic selection, research design, data collection, analysis, and preparation of project reports.
Addressing the gathering, T. Rajaiah, Vice Principal and Head of the Department of Commerce, stated that the primary objective of the workshop is to provide students with a foundational understanding of research methodology and equip them with the skills to undertake research projects effectively.
The programme was attended by TGCGTA State General Secretary Kadaru Surender Reddy, Workshop Coordinator Burla Naresh, IQAC Coordinator Harjot Kaur, Staff Club Secretary M. Srinivas Reddy, faculty members including M. Malla Reddy, R. Ramakrishna, K. Arjun, M. Shireesha, T. Aravind, B. Narmada, C.H. Ramulu, A. Mallesham, Ilaiah, Raju, Poornachander, Gouthami, Pragya, and a large number of students.
