NTPC invites applications for imparting Computer training to unemployed youth of the region
RAMAGUNDAM, MARCH 18, 2026: The Rural Sports Programme 2025–26 was successfully organised for boys and girls from 21 Government High Schools across Ramagundam, Anthergaon, Palakurthi, and Kamanpur mandals of the region. The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and concluded on a high note at ZPHS, Jyothinagar, on Wednesday.
As part of the initiative, Kho-Kho and Volleyball competitions were conducted, drawing active involvement from young athletes representing various government schools. A total of 1,000 students participated in the sports events, showcasing their skills, teamwork, and sporting spirit.
The programme was efficiently organised and received a positive response from students, teachers, and physical directors. It aimed at encouraging rural students to actively engage in sports and physical activities.
The Rural Sports Programme played a significant role in fostering competitive spirit, sportsmanship, discipline, and physical fitness among students. Such initiatives contribute greatly to the overall development of students by promoting a healthy lifestyle and nurturing young sporting talent in rural areas. Head of the Project, Chandan Kumar Samanta, graced the occasion and distributed prizes and trophies to the winners of various competitions.
