RAJANNA-SIRCILLA, MARCH 07, 29026: Students of Telangana Social Welfare Residential Degree College for Women in Shatrajpalli of Vemulawada town have captivated the audience with their scintillating performance during the ground-breaking for the construction of the District Court 10+2 building in Rajanna Sircilla district on Saturday.
The students presented cultural programmes and stood as a special attraction. On this occasion, the students performed several dance performances reflecting patriotism and Telangana culture, which captivated the audience. High Court judges, advocates, and other distinguished guests who attended the programme appreciated the talent of the students. In addition, the college students showed remarkable performance in the NYK district-level sports competitions.

Manasa (BDT 3rd Year) and her team secured first place in Volleyball, Pavitra (BDT 1st Year) won first prize in the 800 meters running race, S. Supriya (BDT 3rd Year) and team secured first place in Badminton, Chaitrika (BA 2nd Year) won second place in Shot Put, and Shruthi (BDT 3rd Year) secured second place in Chess. On this occasion, the winners were congratulated by the College Principal Dr. K. Lavanya, Vice Principal B. Sumalatha, Physical Director Anusha, and other faculty members.
As part of the prestigious government programme “Praja Palana – Pragathi Pranalika”, cleanliness activities were conducted in the college on the second day. The activities included cleaning the classrooms, removing unnecessary items, closing rat holes, cleaning walls and ceilings, and removing cobwebs. This programme was organised under the supervision of Cultural Committee coordinator G Swapna, ACOs Sandhya Rani, HoD of Botany Reddymalla Deepti, English Lecturer G. Rajini, with active participation from students and faculty members.
