JAGTIAL, MARCH 07, 2026: On the eve of International Women’s Day celebrations, the Health Club, NSS and Shravani Saamajika- Sahithi Samskruthika Samaakya organised a medical camp for the benefit of students at the Government Degree College for Women in Jagtial town on Saturday.
On this occasion, the renowned gynaecologists of Jagtial, Dr Roja and Dr Vineela, along with their team, visited the college. They examined the students, provided medical advice and treatment. They provided medicines.
Around 50 students and faculty members participated in the programme and got benefited from undergoing medical check-ups conducted by the doctors.
The College Principal, Professor Kalvakunta Ramakrishna, expressed his happiness for the successful completion of the programme. Those who participated in the health camp include In-charge Principal G. Chandrayya, Association President Dindigala Vittal, executive committee members, Health Club Coordinator G. Neeraja, NSS Programme Officer G. Srilatha, Ramachandram, Mallikarjun, Jamuna, Sunitha, Sangeetha, Veena, and other members of the teaching staff.
