KARIMNAGAR, MARCH 02, 2026: The Department of Commerce, SRR Government Arts & Science College (Autonomous), Karimnagar, organised an industrial field visit to provide practical industrial exposure to its students. As part of this initiative, the students visited the Sujana UPVC Doors Windows Manufacturing Unit in Karimnagar on Monday.
During the visit, students directly observed the manufacturing process of UPVC doors and windows. Industry experts explained various aspects such as the use of raw materials, cutting, welding, assembling processes, quality control methods, storage and supply systems, and marketing management practices.
The students gained insights into modern technological practices and marketing strategies adopted by the industry. The Head of the Department of Commerce, Mr. T. Rajayya, stated that by developing entrepreneurial ideas and launching startups, students can achieve financial self-reliance.
The Principal of the College, Prof. K. Ramakrishna, appreciated the initiative and remarked that such field visits significantly enhance students’ practical knowledge.
The field visit was attended by the Head of the Department of Commerce, Mr. T. Rajayya, and faculty members from the Departments of Commerce and Management, including K. Ramakrishna, M. Srinivas Reddy, Harjoth Kaur, Boorla Naresh, K. Arjun, Ms. M. Shirisha, Mr. T. Aravind, Ms. B. Narmada, Mr. Ramulu, Mr. Nagaraju, Mr. Mallesham, Ms. Shirisha, along with a large number of students.
