KARIMNAGAR, FEBRUARY 28, 2026: On the occasion of National Science Day, a Science Fair was successfully organised at Telangana Social Welfare Residential Degree College for women, Nagunuru, Karimnagar, to promote scientific awareness, creativity, and innovation among students. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students who presented various scientific models, charts, and survey projects on environmental and biological themes.
The programme was inaugurated by the Principal, T. Malathi, who encouraged students to develop a scientific temper and apply their knowledge to address environmental and societal challenges. She appreciated the students’ efforts and emphasised the importance of research and innovation in higher education.

Vice Principal S. Padmaja also attended the program and appreciated the students for their active participation and innovative presentations. She motivated students to continue engaging in scientific activities that contribute to environmental protection and sustainable development.

Students displayed several informative projects, including eco-bricks made from plastic waste, biodiversity surveys conducted within the college campus, and models related to pollution control and environmental conservation. Faculty members evaluated the projects and interacted with students to understand their concepts and methodologies.
The science fair provided a valuable platform for students to enhance their scientific knowledge, presentation skills, and confidence. The management and staff appreciated the organizers and participants for making the event educational and successful.
