PEDDAPALLI, FEBRUARY 25, 2026: Girls of Peddapalli district in Telangana state are learning self-defence techniques as part of the free self-defence training programme being organised by the Karate India Organisation in association with the Telangana Sports Karate Do Association.
As part of the campaign of Strong Children – Strong India, the Karate Association of India has taken up the campaign to teach martial arts skills among the school students of the districts. Accordingly, the association had conducted a session at a government school in Ramagundam coal belt of Peddapalli district.

The martial arts programmes aimed at teaching essential self-defence techniques, building confidence, and promoting discipline, mental strength, awareness and physical fitness among the students.


The training was conducted under the guidance of a coach, Shihan K Mondaiah, with active participation and enthusiastic response from students. Special thanks to Bharat Sharma, president of Karate India organisation; Mahesh Kumar Goud, president of Telangana Sports Karate Do association; and M. Ramaswamy, general secretary of Telangana Sports Karate Do association, for their continuous support and encouragement.
