KARIMNAGAR, FEBRUARY 22, 2026: Kolagani Srinivas has assumed charge as the new Mayor of Municipal Corporation of Karimnagar on Sunday.
The new Mayor offered special prayers along with his family members in his chambers. On this occasion, he signed the first file on the solution of the drinking water problem and various developmental works in the villages, which were merged with the MCK for Rs 49 lakhs
Thanking the people of Karimnagar for electing the BJP to power, he thanked Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar, BJP state president Ramachander Rao, and the BJP national and state leaders for choosing him as Mayor Candidate. He assured to strive for the development of all 66 divisions with the support of Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar
On this occasion, MCK Commissioner Praful Desai has presented the new Mayor with a flower bouquet. Similarly, Deputy Mayor Y Sunil Rao also presented a bouquet. BJP district president G Krishna Reddy and others were also present.
