KARIMNAGAR, JANUARY 29, 2026: Collector Pamela Satpathy has handed two orphaned children to childless couples after completion of official formalities in Karimnagar town on Thursday.
Two orphans from the Bala Sadan were handed over to the childless couples. A nine-year-old girl was handed over to a couple from Visakapatnam, and a 13-year-old boy from Gopalpuram village of Karimnagar was handed over to blood relatives.
On this occasion, the Collector informed the childless couples to adopt the orphan children through a legal process by approaching the District Welfare Officer for legal adoption of children. DWO Saraswathi, DCPO Durdhana Parveen, CWD members Kalinga Shekhar and Vijay, Sishu Gruha (incharge), manager Kavitha and others were also present.
