HYDERABAD, JANUARY 29, 2026: A three-day Innovation, Design and Entrepreneurship (IDE) Bootcamp for Principals and teachers of PM SHRI Schools is underway at ACE Engineering College, Ghatkesar, from January 28 to 30, 2026.
The PM SHRI scheme, launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Teachers’ Day, September 5, 2022, aims to transform more than 14,500 schools across the country into model institutions offering high-quality education.

The boot camp is jointly organised by the Department of School Education and Literacy, AICTE, Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell, NCERT, and the Wadhwani Foundation. The programme focuses on inculcating design thinking, fostering innovation, and nurturing an entrepreneurial mindset among teachers and students, with a special emphasis on emerging technologies.

From Telangana, 100 teams comprising 100 teachers and 100 students are participating in the programme. ACE Engineering College has been designated as the Nodal Centre for the successful conduct of the boot camp. The event is being organised under the guidance of Prof. Y. V. Gopala Krishna Murthy, General Secretary; P. Mamatha Rao, Director; Y. V. Raghu Vamsi, Chief Operating Officer; N. Sudhakar Reddy, Principal; and Prof. K. Jaya Bharathi, SPOC.
Dr. Bheema Linga Reddy from MoE, AICTE, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Representatives from the Wadhwani Foundation, Shyam P. and Rene Robin, were also present. Nidhi Goyal, Eminent Speaker, delivered a special session on “AI in School Innovation,” highlighting the transformative role of artificial intelligence in school education.
