KARIMNAGAR, JANUARY 28, 2026: A record number of 80 nominations were filed by 76 candidates for the 66 Municipal wards in Karimnagar Municipal Corporation on the first day of filing of nominations for the elections on Wednesday.
Out of the 80 nominations filed, the BJP candidates filed 32 nominations, the Congress from 25 municipal divisions, BRS candidates had filed nominations from 13 divisions, AIMIM from three divisions, AAP and BSP from one each division.
