Cadets captivated by an impressive parade
KARIMNAGAR, JANUARY 26, 2026: The NCC contingent of Jyothishmathi Institute of Technology and Sciences (JITS), captivated with their impressive Republic Day parade on the occasion of the 77th Republic Day celebrations organised on the college premises on the outskirts of Karimnagar town on Monday.

JITS chairman Juvvadi Sagar Rao unfurled the national flag, followed by the national anthem, and took salute from the NCC cadets. Lauding the role of NCC cadets, Mr Sagar Rao said the NCC was the second line of defence and the pride of the nation. He said it was a voluntary organisation which motivated the youth to join the defence forces. He exhorted the students to take a keen interest in NCC activities.
JITS principal Dr T Anil Kumar motivated the students to excel academically and serve the nation with integrity. The Principal of Jyothishmathi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Dr V. Rajkumar, highlighted the role of responsible professionals in contributing to societal and national development.

The programme was further enriched by an impressive march past by the NCC cadets, showcasing discipline, unity, and a strong sense of national pride.
