KARIMNAGAR, JANUARY 26, 2026: Vivekananda Residential School (CBSE), Karimnagar, celebrated the Republic Day themed 150 Years of ‘Vande Mataram’, with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit on its campus. The programme commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag by Dr Sudhakar Rao Polsani, followed by the playing of the National Anthem, which filled the atmosphere with pride and national fervour.

The celebrations were graced by the presence of Chairman Dr Sudhakar Rao Polsani, Rama Devi Polsani, Member of Advisory Committee, Laxman Rao, Principal, Renuka Balivada, Head Mistress, Anitha Vangala, and Vice Principal, Mogli Prashanth, along with parents, teaching and non-teaching staff.
Welcoming the gathering, Principal Renuka Balivada highlighted the significance of Republic Day and emphasised the importance of the Indian Constitution in shaping the democratic fabric of the nation. Laxman Rao addressed the students, urging them to uphold constitutional values and become responsible and ethical citizens.

Addressing the gathering, Chairman Dr Sudhakar Rao Polsani delivered a motivating speech, stating that Republic Day is not just a celebration but a reminder of the duties and responsibilities of every citizen. He encouraged students to respect the Constitution, value unity in diversity, and work towards building a strong and progressive nation.
Director Dr T. Lalitha Kumari, in her message, conveyed that education plays a crucial role in nurturing disciplined, aware, and socially responsible individuals.
The cultural programme added colour to the celebrations with patriotic songs, energetic dance performances by Class VI and Class VII students, impressive pyramid formations showcasing teamwork, and a thought-provoking skit on the importance of the Indian Constitution.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Vice Principal Mogli Prashanth, marking a memorable and meaningful Republic Day celebration at VRS.
