KARIMNAGAR, JANUARY 23, 2026: Management of Siddartha Group of Schools in various parts of Karimnagar district celebrated Vasanth Panchami with religious fervour and gaiety on Friday.
The celebrations began with the offering of prayers to Goddess Saraswathi. The celebrations commenced with the Saraswati Vandana, invoking the blessings of the goddess, seeking knowledge and wisdom.
School Chairman Dasari Sripal Reddy, Director D Swapna Sripal Reddy and others participated in the homam amid chanting of Vedic hymns.
The festival holds a special significance for students, who seek blessings for academic excellence and success from goddess Saraswati. The students highlighted the significance of the festival, recited poems and sang cheerful festive songs.
On this occasion, a mass aksharabhyasam programme (initiation of education to a child) was performed with hundreds of children and their parents taking part in the ritual on the occasion of auspicious Vasanta Panchami for the bright future of the children.
