He held a review meeting with TTD officials on Monday at the EO Chamber in the TTD Administrative Building in Tirupati. Speaking on the occasion, the EO said that the respective state governments have accorded approval and allocated land towards the construction of TTD temples at Guwahati in Assam, Patna in Bihar, Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu, and Belgaum in Karnataka.
The EO instructed the officials to hold discussions with the concerned state authorities and place the matter of taking possession of the allotted lands before the upcoming TTD Trust Board meeting.
He further directed that the designs and administrative approvals required for the proposed TTD temple at the allotted site in Chennai should be placed before the TTD Board for approval.
Referring to the Pilgrim Amenities Complex (PAC) at Rishikesh, which is in a dilapidated condition, the EO instructed TTD engineering officials to conduct a detailed inspection and prepare an action plan for the construction of a new PAC by February.
The EO also directed officials to finalise dates for conducting online examinations in April to fill vacant Assistant Engineer (AE) posts in the TTD Engineering Department.
He stated that while 164 Veda Parayanadars have already been appointed in TTD temples, orders should be issued in February for appointing the remaining 536 selected candidates in other temples.
Further, he instructed that training programmes be conducted in three phases during February for 150 Archakas and 68 Pottu workers in accordance with TTD standards.

To enhance devotee convenience, the EO instructed officials to analyse emails received from devotees regarding facilities, services, and information, and forward them to the concerned departments for redressal.
He also emphasised that the latest information sought by devotees should be continuously updated on the TTD website.
TTD JEO Sri Veerabrahmam, FA & CAO Sri Balaji, Chief Engineer Sri Satyanarayana, and other officials participated in the meeting.
