Karimnagar: Students of the 10th grade from St George International School (CBSE) in Karimnagar city visited the Wonderla amusement park in Hyderabad as part of an educational excursion on Sunday.
The school management organised this trip to provide mental relaxation for the students, who are usually busy with daily lessons and exams.
The students, who departed from the school on Sunday morning, spent the entire day at Wonderla with great enthusiasm. They enjoyed various adventure rides, water slides, and entertainment programs like the musical fountain. The students expressed their joy, stating that the trip was incredibly helpful in relieving exam-related stress.
Adding educational value to this fun trip, the teachers accompanying the students described the laws of mathematics and physics behind the functioning of different kinds of rides, especially the ones such as carousel and pendulum and also related their subjects to various aspects of the trip.

Speaking on the occasion, School Chairman P Fathima Reddy noted that, along with academics, entertainment and excursions are essential for the overall development of students. He stated that such programmes will be organised regularly to enhance students’ creativity and keep them away from stress. He also lauded the efforts of the school team for organising this educational and fun-filled trip for the students in which students get to learn various concepts in an interesting manner.
