KARIMNAGAR, DECEMBER 28, 2025: The Telangana Mathematics Forum, Karimnagar district unit, has organised the District level Mathematics Talent test on Sunday (December 28, 2025) at Blue Bells High School, Karimnagar, to commemorate the birth anniverasary eminent mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan.
Students of Class X selected from every mandal of the district, representing Government, Zilla Parishad, KGBV, Model and Residential Schools, in Telugu, English and Urdu media, participated enthusiastically in the competition. A total of 110 students took part in the event.
The TMF Karimnagar District Unit expressed its happiness that the winners of this district-level competition have been selected to represent Karimnagar District at the State Level Mathematics Talent Test.

Addressing the gathering, Headmasters Sridhar Raju and Harikrishna highlighted the vital role of mathematics in students’ academic growth and intellectual development.
Chief Guest Karra Ashok Reddy, Quality Coordinator, stated that a strong foundation in basic mathematical concepts from the school level would enable students to face any competitive examination with confidence. He advised students to read the question paper carefully and answer thoughtfully to achieve success, and appreciated the efforts of the Mathematics Forum in promoting mathematical talent.
The programme was graced by P. Krishna Gopal, Mandal Educational Officer, Karimnagar Urban, along with several headmasters, mathematics teachers, and district office bearers of TMF, including Janga Manohar Reddy (Founder President), E. Chakradhar (District President), C.H. Bikshapathi (District General Secretary), N. Prakash (Treasurer), Associate Presidents Rammohan and Surender, and TMF mandal representatives from across the district.
On this occasion, mathematics teachers who were promoted as Gazetted Headmasters in August 2025 were felicitated. Renowned psychologist Bootla Ramaswamy addressed students and parents, offering valuable guidance on mental preparedness for Class X examinations and results. The prize certificates were distributed to the winners by Sri P. Krishna Gopal, MEO, Karimnagar Urban.
