TIRUMALA, DECEMBER 2025: Continuous holidays and the year-end pilgrims rush had led to a chaotic situation at Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanams, and devotees waiting for darshan touched more than 24 hours mark on Friday.
In the wake of the weekend holidays, a large number of devotees lined up at Alipiri Bhudevi Complex. As the SSD tokens were exhausted, the devotees rushed for the Divya Darshan tokens.
At this juncture, the police and TTD security personnel who were on duty controlled the situation in the queue lines and took measures to avoid any problems for the devotees.
Presently, the devotees are waiting in compartments outside Shilathoranam. The TTD authorities are working around the clock to serve the pilgrims with water, milk and snacks.
The TTD authorities are expecting that the devotees’ rush would further swell during the Vaikunta Dwara darshan and year-end festivities. They said that they were making all arrangements to meet the requirements of the devotees by providing refreshments, milk and water in the queue lines.
