
KARIMNAGAR, DECEMBER 24, 2025: Vivekananda Residential School (CBSE), Karimnagar, celebrated Christmas with great joy and festive spirit on Wednesday (December 24).
The school campus was beautifully decorated with festive embellishments, including bells, streamers, stars, and a splendid Christmas tree, creating a joyous, cheerful and welcoming atmosphere for students and staff.
The celebrations began with a meaningful skit performed by students of Classes 3, 4, and 5. The programme featured melodious Christmas carols sung by students, which conveyed messages of peace, love, and joy. A meaningful depiction of the Birth of Jesus Christ was presented, helping students understand the true essence of Christmas and its spiritual significance.
Adding colour and energy to the event, students of Classes 1 and 2 presented two delightful dance performances. Their lively moves and confident expressions won the hearts of the audience and brought smiles all around. A special appearance by Santa Claus added excitement to the event, as he distributed sweets among the students, spreading cheer and happiness.
Addressing the gathering, Principal Renuka Balivada spoke about the importance of celebrating festivals together, highlighting values such as unity, compassion, and joy. She appreciated the efforts of the students and teachers in making the event a success.

Gandra Laxman Rao, Advisor to the Managing Committee, commended the students for their enthusiastic and confident performances. He addressed the children and encouraged them to continue participating actively in co-curricular activities along with academics.
On the occasion, Chairman Dr. Sudhakar Rao Polasani and Director (Academics) Dr. T. Lalitha Kumari extended their heartfelt Christmas greetings and conveyed warm wishes to all the students, staff, and parents.
The celebration concluded on a happy note, leaving everyone with cherished memories and reinforcing the spirit of joy, peace, and togetherness among the school community.
