Singareni in Charge C&MD D Krishna Bhaskar at Singareni Foundation Day Celebrations
HYDERABAD, DECEMBER 23, 2025: Singareni In-charge CMD D Krishna Bhaskar has stated that the true strength of Singareni lies not merely in production but in the generations of workers’ diligence who have contributed with discipline, dedication, and mutual trust. He emphasised that the company has stood strong for 137 years because of their relentless efforts.
Speaking as the chief guest at the Singareni Foundation Day celebrations held at Singareni Bhavan in Hyderabad on Tuesday, In-charge CMD Krishna Bhaskar highlighted that workers’ safety, welfare, and skill development remain the top priorities. He assured that existing schemes will be further strengthened and working conditions made safer, stressing that prevention of accidents must be a collective responsibility.
Reflecting on the past year, he noted that despite adverse weather conditions, technological challenges, and market fluctuations, Singareni has moved forward by adhering to safety standards and utilising resources efficiently. He praised the responsibility shown by every miner, supervisor, and officer in this effort.
Looking ahead, Mr Krishna Bhaskar urged everyone to question and prepare for Singareni’s future. He explained that the company is exploring opportunities in critical minerals and allied sectors, while also considering its role in the evolving energy landscape, including renewable energy initiatives. Though these are still at the conceptual stage, he stressed the importance of preparing in advance rather than neglecting future possibilities.

On the front of social responsibility, he reaffirmed Singareni’s commitment to the development of surrounding areas, education, and employment opportunities. He described the growing participation of women in mining operations, rescue teams, and other departments as a significant indicator of Singareni’s progress.
He also recalled the national recognition earned by Singareni’s rescue teams and mine management, urging everyone to draw inspiration and further improve performance. Concluding his address, Sri Krishna Bhaskar expressed confidence that with the right pace, direction and mutual trust, Singareni will safeguard its sustainability and adapt to changing times.
The Event was also attended by Executive Director (Coal Movement) B. Venkanna, Advisor (Forestry), Mohan Parigen, GM (Coordination) T. Srinivas, and several other dignitaries.
