KARIMNAGAR, DECEMBER 22, 2025: National Mathematics Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Telangana Social Welfare Residential Degree College, Nagunuru, Karimnagar, on Monday to commemorate the birth anniversary of the renowned Indian mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan.
The programme was conducted under the guidance of Principal T Malathi and Vice-Principal S. Padmaja and was successfully organised by the Department of Mathematics, comprising Vasumathi, K. Radhika, and D. Mamatha.
As part of the celebrations, students presented posters and innovative mathematical models, explaining number systems, geometric concepts, and logical reasoning through interactive demonstrations. Faculty members and visitors appreciated the students for their creativity and clarity in presenting mathematical ideas.
The event aimed to enhance logical thinking, analytical skills, and interest in mathematics among students. The celebration concluded on an inspiring note, emphasising the importance of mathematics in academic excellence and everyday life.
