
KARIMNAGAR, DECEMBER 22, 2025: National Mathematics Day was celebrated at the Manair Educational Institutions in Karimnagar town to commemorate the birth anniversary of Srinivasa Ramanujan, who made an exemplary contribution to mathematics on Monday.
Students of all classes participated in the programme. Children explained the importance of mathematics through exhihits and speeches. The celebrations began with Manair Educational Institutions chairman Kadari Ananth Reddy paying floral tributes to the portrait of Srinivasa Ramanujan. Appreciating the students enthusiasm with their active participation to remove fear of mathematics, he encouraged the students to participate in such activities in future.
To mark the birth anniversary of mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan, a raft of fun-filled mathematical activities were organised by the students. Students delivered speeches highlighting the importance of celebrating this day and also talked about the significant contribution made by the mathematician. They solved challenging riddles and puzzles, performed magical tricks using significant math concepts, played card games, made bills, hopped on the number line, rolled the dice, and had fun with clay to understand different concepts of mathematics. Director K Sunitha Reddy, Principals Kalyan Sundar and G Saritha Reddy, teachers and others were also present.
