
RAJANNA-SIRCILLA, DECEMBER 22, 2025: In view of the ensuing biennial Samakka-Sarakka jatara in Medaram scheduled to be held from January 28 to 31, 2026, the pilgrims’ rush had swelled at the allied temples of Sri Raja Rajeshwara Swamy devasthanam at Sri Bheemeshwara Swamy temple and Sri Baddi Pochamma temple in Vemulawada temple town on Monday.
Following the heavy influx of devotees, the devasthanam authorities had made arrangements for 24×7 darshan at the above two temples. It may be recalled that it is a ritual for the devotees to visit and offer prayers at the Vemulawada temple shrines before proceeding to the Medaram jatara. The devotees are busy according priority to participate in the ‘Kode mokku’ rituals at the shrine.
Temple Executive Officer L Rama Devi had allocated special duties to the temple staff to ensure all facilities for the devotees visiting the temple shrines to offer prayers. She directed the authorities to ensure proper regulation of queue lines, law and order and sanitation.
