Officials say the students have a bright future with cent per cent placements

KARIMNAGAR, DECEMBER 18, 2025: Officials of the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Hyderabad, a premier educational institute functioning under the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, have announced the admission notification for the academic year 2026.
The online registrations for the common entrance test had begun from December 8, 2025 and will end on January 6, 2026. The students can register with a late fee of Rs 5,000 from January 7 to 10, 2026. The entrance test for all UG and PG courses would be conducted in 20 centres in the country on February 8, 2026. Situation test, group discussion and interviews in April 2026. The declaration of final results (online) will be in the last week of April, and seat allocation will be in May and June 2026.
Disclosing this to newsmen in Karimnagar town on Thursday, Associate Professors of NIFT Ananth Phani, Kumar Chander, and Narender said that the institute offers various U.G courses like Design Stream – Bachelor of Design, which would include Fashion Design, Textile Design, Knitwear Design, Accessory Design, Leather Design, Fashion Communication and Fashion Technology. The Technology Stream will have a Bachelor of Fashion Technology. Similarly, a P.G course.
The eligibility for any UG courses is Intermediate of any group, and for PG, a graduation from any discipline. The Polytechnic students would have lateral entry into the UG second year courses. The UG courses comprise four years, and the PG of two years.
Stating that the NIFT students would secure cent per cent placement and even better options than the engineering graduates, they said that the NIFT Hyderabad had decided to conduct an open house session on its campus on December 29 and January 2, 2026, between 11 am and 1 pm to clarify various doubts of the students and parents. They would also enlighten the students on various job opportunities after completion of the courses.
