RAJANNA-SIRCILLA, DECEMBER 06, 2025: Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar was the architect of the Indian Constitution as well as a social reformer and vigilant watchdog of socio-economic justice and human rights.
This was stated by the Government Degree College, Sircilla, Principal T Shankar on the occasion of the 69th death anniversary of Dr Ambedkar by paying floral tributes. The programme was organised by the NSS unit of the college. On this occasion, he said Ambedkar’s life was an example of struggle, courage and principles. Dr Ambedkar’s contribution was not only to get reservations for Dalits and backward classes, but he also ensured equal rights and equal opportunities for all citizens in the Indian Constitution, he maintained.
He called upon participants to imbibe the thoughts of Bharat Ratna Dr Ambedkar in their lives. Vice Principal T Lavanya, NSS unit-II programme officer M Shakuntala, faculty members S Krishna Prasad, Narsaiah, Karuna and others were also present.
