
RAMAGUNDAM, DECEMBER 03, 2025: The NTPC Ramagundam & Telangana observed the International Day of Persons with Disabilities at the HOP Conference Hall under the Human Resources Department (Welfare Section), reaffirming the organisation’s commitment to inclusivity and empowerment on Wednesday.
The celebration began with the arrival and welcome of the Chief Guest, Chandan Kumar Samanta, ED (R&T) followed by the Lighting of the Lamp and the rendition of the NTPC Geet. A cake-cutting ceremony added warmth to the occasion, after which participants introduced themselves and engaged in interactive activities designed to encourage confidence and connection.
Participants were also felicitated for their enthusiasm and contributions. The event featured addresses by: Manish Agrawal, GM (O&M), Ramagundam and Mukul Rai, GM (O&M), Telangana.
The Chief Guest, Mr Chandan Kumar Samantha, Executive Director (R&T), shared his inspiring thoughts, highlighting NTPC’s continuous efforts toward fostering an inclusive environment.
The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks, marking a meaningful and engaging celebration dedicated to recognising abilities, inclusion, and dignity for all.
