
HYDERABAD, NOVEMBER 27, 2025: The English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU), Hyderabad, celebrated the conferment of the prestigious Chevalier des Palmes Académiques upon Prof. Anjali Bagde by the French Government.
A special ceremony was organized on the university campus today to mark the occasion. Addressing the gathering, Vice Chancellor Prof. N. Nagaraju paid tribute to Prof. Bagde’s long and substantial career and thanked the officials of the French Embassy and the French Government for their support and recognition.
Prof. Bagde has three decades of dedicated service at EFLU, shaping generations of students and enriching the academic community with her commitment to excellence in French and Francophone studies.
