KARIMNAGAR, NOVEMBER 25, 2025: Thanksgiving Day was celebrated at the Alphores School of Gen Next campus (S6), Vavilalapalli, in Karimnagar town, on Tuesday to acknowledge the contributions of their teachers.
To acknowledge and recognise the efforts and dedication of the management, teachers and the support staff, the parents of the school, under the aegis of the Parents’ Students Association, hosted an annual thanksgiving function on the school premises. This gala affair is one of its kind event in the city. It is the parents who play the role of the host to celebrate the hard work and commitment of the Alphores School of Gen Next fraternity. Alphores Educational Institutions Chairman V Narender Reddy has formally inaugurated the programme.
The grand event was based on the theme, ‘Love, grace and gratitude.’’ The event aimed to provide an opportunity for the parents to interact and express their gratitude to the management and staff for their devotion, care and love showered upon the students. The event was marked by a cultural show wherein the multi-talented parents participated enthusiastically and showcased their extraordinary abilities through singing, acting, drama, oratorical skills and dancing. The virtue of having faith in God was displayed by the parents as they invoked the blessings of the Almighty through a ‘Ganesh Vandana’ in the beginning.
The highlight of the event was ‘Nukkad Natak’, where the parents showcased the consequences of addiction to social media, shopping, WhatsApp chatting, drunk driving etc. The auditorium resounded with applause as the parents danced to a foot-tapping number on the theme of the diversified Indian culture. The parents gave a soul-stirring performance through a Sufi song, which further lifted the mood. Through a skit on demonetisation, the parents added humour and wit to the financial crunch being faced by everyone these days. A mesmerising solo song performance was presented by a parent, which set the ball rolling for the audience and warmed them up for the show. Another phenomenal performance was a recital in Hindi, illustrating the idea of thanking parents and why they wanted to thank the teachers
