KARIMNAGAR, NOVEMBER 25, 2025: The annual sports day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at St George International School (CBSE) in Karimnagar on Monday and Tuesday. The event began with students showcasing their talents through dance performances and speeches, highlighting the importance of sports.
The Chairman, P Fatima Reddy, along with Principals Bhargav and Priyadarshini, and Vice Principals Niranjan and Prasad Reddy, flagged off the torch run, marking the commencement of the sports events.
The Chairman emphasised the significance of physical fitness alongside academics and encouraged students to participate in sports to develop their overall personality. The two-day event, held on November 24th and 25th, featured various sports competitions, including athletics, cricket, kho-kho, basketball, volleyball, throwball, sack race, and skipping.
Winners of the events were awarded mementoes, and the Chairman congratulated them on their achievements. The event concluded with the distribution of prizes to the winners, who secured first and second places in their respective events.
The sports teachers, Jagan, Raju, Ravi, AmanPreet, Rohan, Hakeem, Balbir, and Amarender, played a significant role in organising the event.
