Led by caparisoned elephants, horses and bulls, the Goddess gently moved along the temple streets blessing devotees from 7 pm onwards.
Earlier, the Chandragiri legislator Sri Pulivarti Nani presented Pattu Vastrams as a traditional practice and offered prayers inside the temple.
Both the senior and junior pontiffs of Tirumala, EO AK Singhal, Additional EO Ch Venkaiah Chowdary, JEO Veerabrahmam, CVSO Muralikrishna, DyEO Harindranath were also present.
