
HYDERABAD, NOVEMBER 18, 2025: Hyderabad will soon play host to a grand celebration of culture, technology, and tradition as Telangana and the eight North Eastern States come together for the first-ever Telangana-North East India Connect: A Techno-Cultural Festival.
The festival will unfold in two grand phases — the first from November 20 to 22 at HITEX, Madhapur, and the second from November 25 to 27 at Raj Bhavan, and other venues within Hyderabad and Cyberabad.
Spearheaded by Governor of Telangana Jishnu Dev Varma, this unique event aims to promote the deep cultural, economic, and social ties between Telangana and the North East. It celebrates the diverse heritage and technological advancements of these regions, promoting collaboration, dialogue, and strategic partnerships.
The inauguration, scheduled for November 20, will be graced by the Hon’ble Governors of Telangana and Tripura, along with the Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri A. Revanth Reddy, and other dignitaries. The festival program features a rich cultural programme, panel discussions, and exhibitions highlighting arts, cinema, sports, women’s empowerment, economy, medicine, science, technology, theatre, and literature.
Delegates from North Eastern states will engage with experts from Telangana sharing insights in various fields, and visit key innovation hubs including T-Hub, We-Hub, Genome Valley, Super speciality Hospitals of both public and private, etc.
With multiple parallel sessions and cultural showcases, Hyderabad is set to witness an unprecedented fusion of tradition and technology, strengthening bonds and inspiring creativity between Telangana and the North East.
The event is coordinated by the Principal Secretary to Governor M. Dana Kishore, the senior State Government Officials and senior Raj Bhavan officials, with arrangements being meticulously planned to ensure a smooth and successful festival.
