
KARIMNAGAR, NOVEMBER 15, 2025: Vivekananda Residential School (VRS), Karimnagar, celebrated Children’s Day with a difference and great enthusiasm and a vibrant atmosphere. The celebration was graced by the school’s proud alumni — Dr Ghuguloth Jayanthi, Chief Obstetrician & Gynaecologist at JS Hospitals, Hyderabad, and Dr K. Vamshidhar Reddy, Professor and Head of Unit, Orthopaedics, at Chalmeda Anand Rao Institute of Medical Sciences (CAIMS) in Karimnagar town.
The programme began with inviting the dignitaries onto the dais, followed by the Lighting of the Lamp and the presentation of saplings as a mark of respect. The assembly included the National Song, Prayer, Birthday Song, and a meaningful Thought for the Day. The alumni guests were formally introduced and delivered inspiring speeches, sharing their journey from VRS to successful medical careers.

Principal Renuka Balivada addressed the gathering and extended warm Children’s Day wishes. After the formal session, the guests joined the audience on the ground. A lively cultural programme followed, where teachers exclusively performed various songs, dances, and a skit, creating excitement and delight among the students. The assembly concluded with the National Anthem.
Later, CCA activities were conducted for all classes. Students received gifts, and house-wise group games, including Kho Kho and Kabaddi, were held for high school boys and girls, adding energy and competitive spirit to the celebration. The event highlighted the school’s dedication to celebrating childhood and fostering joy, creativity, and community spirit.
