It is a tradition to hold Vanabhojanam here during the holy month of Kartika.
As part of this, the ceremonial idols of the deities are taken out of the temple in a procession at 7 am and taken to the Parvata Mandapam at Srivari Mettu at 9 am.
The Snapana Tirumanjanam ceremony is observed between 10 am and 11 am. The deities return to the temple in the evening.
Owing to this, the regular Kalyanotsavam Arjitha Seva has been cancelled in the temple.
After Snapanam, the community dining programme- Vana Bhojanam is observed.
