KARIMNAGAR, OCTOBER 26, 2025: Several cyclists pedalled at the district-level competitions organised by Karimnagar District Cyclists Association at Satavahana University in Karimnagar town on Sunday.
Kothapallia CI Billa Koteshwar, along with the Association President B. Madhusudhan Reddy, Secretary Surabhi Venugopal, and others formally flagged off the cyclists’ rally. Speakers noted that cycling serves both health and environmental purposes. “Across the country, cycling events are being organised to spread the message of Fit India and Swadeshi”, they added.
There was an overwhelming response to the competitions in the U-14, U-16, U-18 and U-21 for boys and girls. The selected winners would participate in the state-level cycling competitions in Ranga Reddy district from November 1 and 2.
The selected candidates include: Under 14-year boys category; Ashrith Khandal, B Sanathana Prasad, Ch Rothith Reddy, A Arjun, K Anoja and T Sri Rishikha. The U-14 girls category includes K Adhya, S Bhavya, J Nakashtra, Lekya Ramanm, Rithika Sirin and B Sruthi.
Under 16 boys include: B Askhay, Md Jedh, K Anirudh, V Nihaar, B Siddartha, P Srestha and P Sathvik. The Under-17 boys category includes: V Rithikesh. And Under 21 and above years; M Rehan Shivakrishna. The district cycling with the winners, good luck in their future endeavours to bring reputation to the district.
