Bank staff launch a Deposit mobilisation campaign in the integrated Karimnagar district
KARIMNAGAR, OCTOBER 19, 2025: Faced with deposit growth challenges, the Karimnagar District Cooperative Central Bank, the top cooperative bank in the country, has announced the Sowbhagya Fixed Deposit scheme offering 8 per cent interest for the general public and 8.5 per cent interest for womenfolk and senior citizens.
In order to educate about the FD scheme among the customers to reap riches with the highest interest rates, the Karimnagar DCCB employees have launched the campaign by strolling with the walkers on the spacious Satavahana University premises in Karimnagar town on Sunday morning. The team led by its CEO N Satayanarayana Rao, general manager B Sridhar, AGMs, branch managers, Assistant managers, staff assistants and others participated in the Deposit Mobilisation Campaign by distributing pamphlets and educating the people about the importance of investing to reap riches.
Speaking on the occasion, DCCB CEO N Satyanarayana Rao enlightened the walkers about the history of the bank, which was the first bank established in the year 1921 in the integrated Karimnagar town. He said that the Karimnagar DCCB had emerged as a role model cooperative bank in the country by winning several national awards consecutively for the last nine years.
Explaining that the Karimnagar DCCB was providing all the services on par with any commercial bank in the district, he appealed to the people to deposit their amount for safe custody and the benefit of the farming community, and the money would be circulated within the old Karimnagar district by providing loans to various sections of society. He also informed the NPA of the below 0.54 per cent and earning huge profits of more than Rs 119.31 crore, and the business crossing over Rs 7,000 crore during the last financial year.
The staff members supported the drive wholeheartedly and are in “sync” with the management. DCCB general manager B Sridhar, TCCBEA district president G Hanumantha Rao, Managers K Sunil, Prasoona, Sharada and others also participated in the campaign.
