

KARIMNAGAR, OCTOBER 17, 2025: The Bhagavathi and Arvintree high schools in various parts of Bhagathnagar in Karimnagar town celebrated the Diwali festival to promote of eco-friendly festival on Friday.
The schools celebrated an eco-friendly Diwali, bringing the school community together to embrace the festival of lights responsibly. The event emphasised the importance of a ‘Green Diwali’ by promoting sustainable practices, such as avoiding firecrackers to reduce pollution. A colourful rangoli competition was the centrepiece of the festivities, alongside activities such as diya painting, creating art from waste and storytelling about Diwali customs, all highlighting harmony with nature.
On this occasion, students presented a cultural programme on the importance of the Diwali festival. Schools Chairman B Ramana Rao and Director B Vijayalakshmi, and others were also present.
