

Students developed mosquito refills made from neem leaves. This innovative project was submitted to PRAYAAS-NCERT.
KARIMNAGAR, OCTOBER 17, 2025: St.George International School (CBSE), Karimnagar, has achieved yet another milestone in the field of innovation. PRAYAAS-NCERT invited students to submit research-oriented projects aimed at fostering research capabilities among young minds.
As part of this initiative, Dhruthishree and Akshaya, 9th-grade students, under the guidance of teacher Mr Mallikarjun and with valuable advice from Mr Suresh, Professor at Satavahana University, developed mosquito refills made from neem leaves. This innovative project was submitted to PRAYAAS-NCERT.
The project was shortlisted by the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) and has been selected for the national level.
Chairman P Fatima Reddy congratulated everyone involved in the project for their hard work and dedication. He expressed his delight in announcing that the project has advanced to the next stage, which includes an interview conducted by NCERT. Then he wished the students and the team success in the upcoming stages and expressed confidence in their ability to showcase an excellent performance and make the project a success.
The event was attended by Principals Mr Bhargav and Ms.Priyadarshini, along with faculty members and students, who extended their support and encouragement to the team.
