KARIMNAGAR, OCTOBER 10, 2025: Sleuths of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) have arrested a village secretary for demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs 10,000 for sanctioning the Indiramma housing scheme in Madhuranagar of Gangadhara mandal on Friday.
Sources said that Madhuranagar village secretary Anil has demanded a bribe of Rs 10,000 for the sanction of the Indiramma housing scheme in the village from a victim, who approached the ACB and trapped the corrupt official.
The ACB officials have taken the corrupt officials into custody and are conducting a thorough inquiry into several records in the office. The accused would be produced before the ACB special court in Karimnagar town.
