
Out of 90 screened patients, 10 were detected as new Diabetics and 11 BP patients
KARIMNAGAR, SEPTEMBER 29, 2025: A total of 90 patients were screened for the detection of diabetes and Hypertension (BP) at Dr D Raghu Raman clinic in Boiwada, Karimnagar town, on the occasion of World Heart Day, on Monday.
Out of the screened patients, 10 new Diabetic and 11 new BP patients were detected, and they were further screened and advised on necessary medicines and regular physical activities, etc.
World Heart Day was celebrated with the theme of “Don’t Miss a Beat”. The patients were advised to take proper steps for the protection and good health of their hearts. The programme was conducted with the participation and assistance of MS Corona Remedies, Ahmedabad. Gujarat.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Raghu Raman sensitised the audience against the use of tobacco, unhealthy diet, physical inactivity and harmful use of alcohol, which are the major risk factors leading to cardiovascular diseases. He inspired the patients to adopt a healthy lifestyle by preferring homemade food and avoiding junk food and high-calorie food. He advocated that simple lifestyle measures like salt restriction, avoidance of fat intake, regular aerobic exercises and yoga can help in resolving heart problems.
