

Commissioner of Police Gaush Alam flags off the marathon
KARIMNAGAR, SEPTEMBER 28, 2025: Karimnagar Commissioner of Police Gaush Alam has formally flagged off Medicover Hospitals’ 2K run in Karimnagar town on the eve of World Heart Day on Sunday.
The run passed through from Medicover hospital to the SRR College in Karimnagar town. The event attracted over 1500 participants who came together to raise awareness about heart health and promote a healthy lifestyle.
On this occasion, the CP said, “Exercise is key for a healthy heart. It takes a few minutes of dedicated exercise each day to power your heart.” “This is an excellent initiative by the hospital to promote good health. A healthy lifestyle is definitely the key for a healthy heart”, he maintained.
The hospital doctors said that “The objective of the event was to encourage people to take out at least 15 minutes in a day for exercise. People who maintain a healthy routine tend to live longer and suffer fewer heart ailments. Exercise and a stress-free life are crucial for a healthy heart.” On this occasion, a Zumba Dance was also organised for the healthy lifestyle of people. Hospital doctors Anish Pabba, Vasudeva Reddy, Rajendra Prasad, Vinay Kumar, Vishnuvardhan Reddy, Lokesh Birakalaya, Taha, Dileep Reddy, Venu Gopal, Nagaraju, Rajiv Reddy, Satyanarayana, Pallavi, Priyanka, marketing manager Kota Karnakar, HR manager Eshwar, operations manager Sai Charan and others were also present.
